Talented hospitality professionals based in the US now have the opportunity to take their career high into the sky, by joining Etihad Airways’ world’s leading airline cabin crew.

Competent US nationals, who are interested in joining the airline’s award-winning team of cabin crew, food and beverage managers, and qualified in-flight chefs, should apply online.

Recruitment days will take place in Chicago, New York and Washington DC in the new year. Applicants interested in attending a recruitment day, and joining Etihad Airways, should register in advance by visiting the airline’s career website.

Recruitment days will offer applicants the opportunity to meet Etihad Airways’ recruitment specialists who will provide comprehensive information about living in Abu Dhabi and the dynamics of working with guests at 30,000 feet.

New cabin crew members undergo a seven-week training program, conducted at Etihad Airways’ state-of-the-art Safety and Service Training Academy in Abu Dhabi.

Etihad Airways operates seven luxury premium lounges around the world and one of them is based at Washington Dulles International Airport. More Etihad Airways lounges are set to open in the US in 2014 and this will provide further opportunities to US nationals to join the airline.

Etihad Airways currently flies to Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. Direct flights from Abu Dhabi to Los Angeles and Dallas Fort Worth will start in 2014.

More than 200 US nationals currently work for Etihad Airways, including 66 pilots and 27 cabin crew. All are based in the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
