A suspected cannibal has been arrested by police after three gruesome murders were reported.
According to a Times of India report, the 38-year-old serial killer admitted to murdering three people this month, but he is mum over cannibalism.
Villagers in the state of Rajasthan allege that he had earlier murdered his mother and drank her blood. However, police say they have no evidence of that as yet.
A joint team of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh police nabbed him after he was accused of murdering three people between December 6 and 16.
He is suspected to have drank the blood of the victims and eaten their body parts as well.
Most of the time, he is silent and stares blankly, say police.
He had been living on a tree-top and sought food from villagers. He also ate raw meat of animals, the reports adds.
His misdeeds were unnoticed until police discovered the body of a 32-year-old man in his farmland.
