Udupi : Annual General Body meeting of the Udupi District Retired Police Officers Welfare Association will be held on Sunday, 26^th October, 2014 at Lions Bhavana, Brahmagiri near here. Senior retired Police Superintendent Shri. Vishwanath Shetty will preside the meeting. Honorable President of Association Sudhakar Hegde, Committee members and members of the association will participate during the meeting.

During the meeting office bearers are B. Sudhakar Hegde Retired S.P. as Hon. President, Shri Vishwanath Shetty Retired S. P. as President, B. K. Bijur Retd. P.S.I. , Vishwanath Shetty Red A.S.I., and Sadashiva Achar as Vice Presidents, Shri Surappa Shetty Retd. D.S.P., as Hon. Advisor,  Shri. M. Venkappa Nayak Retd P.S.I as General Secretary, P.A. Kelu Retd. A.S.I. as Joint Secretary, Sanjeev Bhandary Bannanje Retd.  A.H.C.,  as  Treasurer, D. Purushottam Retd. P.S.I as Joint Trasurer and 14 members as Committee members of the Association to be appointed.

The main objectives of the Association will to unity of the retired officers, Give information on members children education, profession and other important matters, to give information of bank finance to students, to give information in regard to proper health matters like Arogya Bhagya, canteen facilities etc., to give information on legal matters.

The inauguration of the office bearers will be held at 10.30am on Sunday, 26^th October at Lions Bhavan, Brahmagiri. Amruth Pal IPS Western Range I.G.P will inaugurate the function. S.S. Pattanshetty Udupi District Commissioner, P. Rajendra Prasad I.P.S. Udupi district Superintendent, Srikanth Rao K. Muncipal Commissioner and Dakshina Kannada Welfare Association President B. J. Bhandary Retd. DSP will participate during the inaugural function.

During the press meet Vishwanath Shetty, M.Venkappa Nayak, P. A. Kelu, Sanjeev Bhandary, D. Purushottam and others were present.
