“Aashiq Banaya Aaapne” Music concert by ICS - in Kuwait

Kuwait, Nov 25, 2014: India’s high ranking music director, actor and playback singer Himesh Reshammiya will be performing live in Kuwait accompanied by today’s choice play back singers Palak Muchhal and Mohammed Irfan Ali in a yet another entertaining event from Indian Cultural Society.

The event titled “Aashiq Banaya Aapne” will be held at Dr. Kamil Al Rays Auditorium, American Int. School Maidan Hawally, Kuwait on Friday 28th November 2014 at 6.30 pm.

After a series of successful films as music director, Himesh Reshamiya entered playback singing with the film Aashiq Banaya Aapne, the songs of which went on to become major hits. As a singer, he churned out songs like “Tera Suroor”, “Aap Ki Kashish”, “Zara Jhoom Jhoom”, “Tanhaiyan”, “Shakalaka Boom Boom”, “Hum Ko Diwana Kar Gaye”, “Jhalak Dikhla Ja”, “Phir Hera Pheri”, “Ahista Ahista”, “Aap Ki Khatir”, “Mohabbat Ki Guzarish”, “Oh My God” etc. Kick, All is well, Policegiri, Bol Bachchan, The Xpose, Dangerous Ishq, Bodyguard, Milenge Milenge, Yakeen, Silsilay, Nigehbaan, Hamshakals, Blackmail, Run, Julie, Dil Maange More, Bardasasht, Footpath, Jodi No. 1, Humraaz, Tere Naam, Ye Hai Jalwa, Hello Brother, Tom Dick & Herry, Special 26, Son of Sardar, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, Bandhan are hit films of Himesh as a music director. Himesh Reshammiya’s music falls almost entirely in the electronic music genre. The extensive use of loops and addition of melodic hooks to his songs adds to their mass appeal.
Palak Muchhal entered in Bollywood in the year 2011 as professional playback singer and became popular choice with her series of hit songs like Jumme Ki Raat ( Film Kick), Khol De Dil Ki Khidki & Piya Ke Bazar ( Humshakals), Ice Cream Khaungi ( The Xpose), Tu Hee Hai Ashiqui            ( Dishkyoon), Chaahun Main Ya Na ( Ashqui ), Meri Aashiqui ( Ashiqui 2), Chaahun Main Ya Na     ( Ashiqui 2), Tui Borsha Bikeler Dheu" ( Rocky- Bangla), Lamha Tera Mera ( Zanjeer), Tirat Meri Tu ( Policegiri), O Humsafar ( Khiladi), Photocopy ( Jai Ho), Yaako Kaane Dina ( Love is Poison – Kannada), Damadamm( Damadam), Laapata ( Eik Tha Tiger) , etc.

Her efforts to help child heart patients (congenital heart defect ) raised 25 million (US$410,000) which has helped to save lives of 572 children, and she has 621 more heart patients on her waiting list. Palak has made her entry in both “Guinness Book of World Records” and “Limca Book of World Records” for great achievements in social work. Her work is also recognized by the Government of India and other public institutions through various awards and honors.

The young talented singer Muhammed Irfan Ali won the heart of millions by his melodious voice became popular with A. R. Rahman team for film Raavan (Behene De.). His popular tracks are Muskurane  (City Lights) Baarish (Yaariyan), Phir Mohabbat (Murder 2) Tu hi tu (OMG & Kick), Dard Dil Ke  (The Xpose), Tere Bin Jiya(Angry Young Man), Hai Ye Zindagi ( Kick), Banjara     (Ek Villain) etc. Irfan won the title of Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star 2 & Amul Star Voice of India. He sung for Tamil, Kannada,  Telgu, Bengali & Oriya languages…..

Along with the Bollywood artists, talented local artist from Kuwait will also add colors to the event.

The event organized by Indian Cultural Society. ICS always tries to bridge cultures and to keep the community happy by bringing together renowned artists on one stage.
