Bluebytes brings together the communication industry for a noble cause, this Christmas!

Every Christmas, you play the Secret Santa game - This time bluebytes has been one for real!!

Mumbai, December 26th 2014 - This festive season, bluebytes has chosen not to ignore the glum eyes of homeless children in Mumbai and Delhi and has taken an initiative to change their lives forever. Bluebytes gathered different communication companies like Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai, LinOpinion GolinHarris, MSL Group, Fleishman-Hillard, Fortuna PR and Blue Lotus to donate towards the kids of an orphanage called “Life Abundant Assemblies” – an orphanage in the lanes of Oshiwara  with children in age groups of 6 - 16 years. The companies who trusted bluebytes as a platform for such an initiative gathered magnanimously generous amount of goodies for the these kids; not only the redundant clothes, books, stationery but also utility based contributions like rice, dal, sugar, toothpaste, tea, biscuits, medicine etc.

The members of this company not only gathered the items and gifted it to them, but also spent time with the kids to cheer them up and initiate the festive mood.

On this humble initiative Mr. Rakesh Pillai, Regional Sales Manager, Blue Bytes News Pvt Ltd. commented, “I’m sure you can recall those days, when you would wake up for school, breakfast would be served, your uniform ironed and your lunch packed. And who’d you have to thank for that? Your mom of course!  Our moms went out of their way to ensure that we had a great childhood, in every which way. Can you imagine growing up without your mother by your side; with no one to prepare your daily meals or to tuck you into bed? This is the life of children who stay in orphanages. Estranged and castaway from birth, the only love they experience comes from the caretakers who look after them. And considering this festive season, we wanted the communication industry to be united for this cause as we say; little drops of water make the mighty ocean, I’m glad with the generous outcome and we shall continue initiating such activities in future.
