Mumbai, Jan. 29: The Bunts Sangha Mumbai organized its Annual Sports Meet – 2015 throughout the day on Sunday at Sports Training Centre Stadium of Sports Authority of India at Samatha Nagar, Kandivali (E).

Mr. Gopal C Shetty, the Member of Parliament, Shyam N. Shetty, the President of Bombay Bunts Association, Ln. Indrali Jayakara Shetty, the President of Bunts Sangha Udupi, Malady Balakrishna Shetty, Film Producer, Narendra M. Rane, the Executive President of Shree Siddivinayaka Mandira Trust were present as chief guests and expressed their wishes.

The sports meet was begun with the offering of arathi to Kateel Durga Parameshwari Devi and Vidwan Aravinda Banninthaya, the chief priest of Shri Vishnumurthy temple performed the pooja rituals. The closing ceremony of the Sports Meet was begun with the prayer of Mrs.Saroja B. Shetty. Mahesh S. Shetty, the Executive President of Sports Committee welcomed the gathering. Mr. Gaurav S. Shetty, the organizer of Sports Festival introduced the guests. Jaya A. Shetty, Karnoor Mohan Rai and Ashok Pakkala presented the programme. Boja Shetty, Vijaya Shetty, Karunakar Shetty managed the sports competitions and Vittala S. Shetty, Shivaprasad Shetty extended their cooperation.

 The closing ceremony of the sports meet was held in the evening under the presidentship of Karnire Vishwanath Shetty, the President and Mohammed Azaruddin, ex- captain of Indian Cricket Team was present as the chief guest. Dr. Padmanabha V. Shetty and other dignitaries, Prabhakar L Shetty, the Vice President of Sangha, Ulthur Mohandas Shetty, the Hon. Chief Secretary, CA| I.R Shetty, the Hon. Treasurer and Kishore Kumar Shetty Kuthyar, the Joint Secretary, Mahesh S. Shetty, the Joint Treasurer, Latha Jayaram Shetty, the Executive President of Women Wing, Vivek V. Shetty, the Executive President of Youth Wing, Vijaya R. Bhandary, the Executive President of Jogeshwari Dahisar Regional Committee were present and distributed prizes to the one and only couple of the nation – Ultra Marathon winner - Sunil Shetty and Sangeetha S. Shetty couple and to the winners of sports meet and congratulated them. The office bearers of the sub-committees, ex office bearers, senior leaders and many Bunts people were present. Shylaja A Shetty sang the prayer song. Ashok Pakkala and Dr. Krishna Shetty presented the programme.
