Glenn McGrath as Hardys’ Brand Ambassador tours India with Sula Selections

Mumbai, 2ndJune,2015: Sula Selections, the import arm of Sula Vineyards and the exclusive importer and distributor of Hardys wines of Australia in India yesterday hosted Australian cricket legend Glenn McGrath on his first tour of India as Hardys Brand Ambassador.

On 1stJune, Glenn McGrath was at the Cricket Club of India (CCI), Mumbai for a Hardys evening hosted by noted cricket historian, writer, commentator and journalist, Dr. Boria Majumdar. Boria took Glenn down memory lane and talk about his career, life and the lessons that have seen him master the ‘The Art of Cricket’.

Glenn is currently on a 3 city tour as Hardys’ Brand Ambassador with Sula Selections. Visiting Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore June 1st-4th. The event partners for the tour are ITC Hotels, the Cricket Council of India (CCI), the Australian High Commission, and ESPN cricinfo.

Dinner hosted last evening by Dr. Boria Majumdar at CCI was attended by Glenn McGrath;Ann-Marie Battista from Hardys Wines; Cecilia OIdne - Sula’s Head of International Business and Brand Ambassador; Prarrthona Pal Chowdhury - Head of Marketing, Sula Selections, Shraddha Nathani, AVP - Marketing - Sula Vineyards; Abhishek Malik, GM Palladium Hotel; Philippe H. Charraudeau and GM ITC Maratha; Kuldeep Bhartee, GM ITC Grand Central.

The evening ended with the announcement of Collector’s Edition wine bottles from Hardys.The labels of these bottles are specially designed with star cricketer, Glenn McGrath’s picture and signature. The Collector’s Edition is expected to be available across cities in India by end of August, 2015.
