Sandip Soparrkar and Pony Verma judges Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa UAE Season 5

United Arab Emirates is one country that loves Bollywood films along with its music and dance numbers. Year after year UAE has been having its own version of Jhalak Dilhklaa Jaa and this year it was the season 5 of the most popular dance reality show.

Like each year the contestants took the limelight by performing on various Bollywood songs with themes such as paying tribute to the women Olympic winners from India, Beti Bachao Beti Padao, patriotic military issues etc. Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa UAE had its favorite Judge Sandip Soparrkar on the panel as always but accompanying him this time was Ooh La La choreographer Pony Verma.

For the finale the contestants performed solos and gave their best to be able to get a chance of performing in front of the Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez and actor Govinda for which, they had to impress both the top Bollywood choreographers.

This season was even more special as the jury also shook a leg along with the contestants in the finale. Sandip Soparrkar shook his booty on "Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai" whereas Pony Verma replicate her hit "Ooh La La" moves for the 5000 packed audience at the Shaikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian High School, Dubai.

Talking about her first time on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa UAE Pony Verma said, "It is a pleasure to be on the sets of Jhalak UAE. The talent her is incredible and has totally left me speechless."

Sandip Soparrkar who is judging Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa fourth time in a row said, "Set of Jhalak UAE is like home for me, from the director to the spot boy, all are like my family. It feels great to be on the sets year after year."

After the grand finale Sreelakshmi Sateesh was adjudged the winner of Jhalak UAE season 5 followed by Nishant Iyer as first runner up and Shanice Lobo as second runner up. The winner will get to soon perform At the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa India.
