Mumbai: Kannada Sangha holds endowment lecture, book review

Mumbai, Jan 9: ’Kannada Sangha’ and ’Srajana Balaga’ held a programme of endowment lecture and books review at Mysore Association auditorium, Matunga east on Saturday, January 7.
Author Latha Santhosh Shetty was the chief guest for the programme. Poet and littérateur Dr Karunaker N Shetty and Aparna Rao, reviewed the works of Dr Sunitha M Shetty and Srajana Balaga.
President of Kannada Sangha (Mumbai) Gururaj S Nayak welcomed the gathering and delivered the keynote address, Sushila Devadiga sang a prayer, Somanath Karkera compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
Vice president Dr S K Bhavani, chief secretary Sathish N Bangera, treasurer Sudhaker G Poojary, librarian S K Padmanabha, Mumbai Srajana Balaga’s Dr Sunitha M Shetty, Meena Kalavara, Shanta Shastri, Dr Girija Shastri, Dakshayini Yedahalli, Sumangala Shetty, Dr G P Kusuma, Sharada Ambesange and others were present at the programme.
