Singapore’s Charm Mesmerizes Alva’s MBA Students

Moodbidri, August 17: For the very first time, MBA students of Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology, Mijar participated in an international study tour to Singapore as a part of their curriculum.

Around 15 students and two faculty members participated in company visits, speaker presentations and lectures as well as many cultural and sightseeing activities in order to gain first-hand experience and understanding of the unique business culture and context of Singapore.

During their visit, the students spent time at PBS Academy, a Private University which offers more than 80 programmes across Certificate, Diploma, Bachelors and Masters Programmes in six schools namely - Accounting & Finance, Business & Communications, Engineering & Technology, Life & Physical Sciences, English & Education and Postgraduate Studies. The students also visited the Science Centre to explore different scientific innovations.

The Faculty and students of Alva’s MBA also had an interactive session with the international student fraternity comprising more than 30 nations. They also participated in Seminars, presentations and discussions. The students were guided by Prof P R Chadaga, Dean-MBA and Dr Vishwanath, Coordinator.

Alva’s Education Foundation plans to have an MOU with PSB Academy to facilitate International student- exchange programmes, joint research activities and cooperation on new and existing academic activities.
