Celebration of Navratri Garba Utsav and Navi Mumbai Sports association recently  by WE District 323 A2 Members

As the Navratrostav started WE District 323 A2 had their Festival event with reputed Navratri  Band and music at NMSA Vashi on 22nd September, 2017, attendance was more than 80 members of 15 clubs of the district.

It was a great event said WE Savitha Nayak, founder Member, resident of Belapur, Navi Mumbaisaid We District President, WE Sudha Shah, arranged very well, and  Savitha also got prize for senior  citizen playing Garba till end with enthusiasm, say
Cultural Committee Chairpersons WE Chetna Maniar and WE Sushma Behl.

The event was also joined with "A CELEBRATION FOR CAUSE" as they kept stalls.With all Stalls people for them also sponsored Coupons by who sponsored Stalls  like WE club of Vasant Vihar sponsored one stall wherein they sold diyas with unique ideas like not to spill the oil at the alter or floor etc. WE Priya Raman, President of the club says  have done Women’s Empowerment project for their
bread and Butter. Dist. President Sudha, sponsored even from remote village near Nashik Mokhada From Adivashi area village Hirve, they brought canes items all the way from Mokhada for Stalls all Bambu items made by Children’s of that village .

2 stalls were sponsored by Sudha Shah and Vaijainti Gaitonde fron We club of West Coast. There were prizes for different groups:

Jayashree Varhade got prize  for  traditionsl dress, who is from Thane Lake City. Manisha kolhe got for  Fusion dress.  WE Club of Uran, member WE Dr Priti Gade got prize for best dress. WE club of Upvan Thane member,WE Rupa got fusion dress prize. WE West Coast member, Seema Shah for fusion dressing. WE Neelam Bhatia for best dress.

Dance prizes were in two categories age of 50+ and below 50 years of age. 1st Prize: 1st prize went to WE club of Uran WE Avani sarvaiya Dipika Shah from WE West Coast club best dance. 2nd Prize 2 people got from WE Vasant Vihar club, respectively WE Hiral Sanghvi &  WE Mala Shetty. 3rd Prize went to Manisha chawala from WE Chembur club, WE Jagruti fron WE club of Vashi Gold, Navi mumbai. WE Arti Bhatia also got a prize.

WE Vibha for fusion  2nd fusion dance and dress prize,who is from WE club of Vashi Gold. Baby Adhya shetty, around age of 2 years grand daughter of WE Prabha Shetty, member of WE club of Vashi also got a prize, a resident of Navi Mumbai. Many could not attend as children had exams Pre-Diwali vacation some are out  of Mumbai for Navratri celebration.said founder member, WE Rajni Shetty, also attended by WE Saroja Mekal and WE Neelam Sharma.
