Pothys Enters Karnataka Market with 1,00,000 Sq.Ft. Eight Floor Showroom in Bengaluru

~ Rope in Puneeth Rajkumar and Tamannaah Bhatia as Brand Ambassadors;  New Showoom to be inaugurated on 26th Febuary 2018 ~ 

Bengaluru 23rd February 2018: Pothys, a leading South Indian, player in the apparel industry with special focus on silk announced its foray into Karnataka with the inauguration of a mega eight floor showroom on Kempegowda Road in Bengaluru. Pothys have roped in megastar Puneeth Raj Kumar as their brand ambassador, along with leading actor Tamannaah Bhatia. Both will portray South Indian Royalty in Pothys commercials. The new showroom is spread across 1,00,000 sq ft consisting of eight floors, each of which is dedicated to different garment segments that Pothys have to offer. The ground floor will showcase apparel made of only cotton and synthetic material while the first floor will showcase fancy designer wear and bridal lehengas. The second floor will be dedicated to silk including Kanchipuram, Dharmavaram and Benarasi silks. The third floor will showcase material for chudidars, shirting and suiting. The fourth floor will showcase readymade chudidars and tops  for ladies. While the fifth floor is dedicated to childrens clothing, the sixth and seventh floors cater to men’s readymades with national and international brands and ethnic wear. Pothys new showroom will open its doors to the public on Monday 26th February 2018.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Ramesh Pothy, Mangaging Director, Pothys Pvt. Pothys also hold a Guinness World Record for creating the world’s longest saree in 2005.

Pothys was established over 90 years ago by Shri.K V Pothy Moopanar in Srivilliputtur as a showroom selling cotton sarees, dhotis and towels, woven in his own loom. Today Pothys has several stores across Tamil Nadu and is expected to increase its footprint to other states in South India.
