Baby girl miraculously recovers after falling from 10th floor in UAE
Investigations showed that the window the girl fell from did not meet the minimum safety requirements.
The 19-month-old Egyptian baby girl, Leen Mahmoud Farghaly, who fell off the window of her family’s apartment in the 10th floor in Ras Al Khaimah on February 17, has fully recovered and is happily running around.
The images of the toddler put on a ventilator had garnered an overwhelming sympathy, prayer, and wishes for survival from everybody nationwide.
The video footage that showed Leen running happily and fully recovered has put a wide smile on the faces of all those who knew about her critical condition and much-anticipated survival.
Leen’s father, Mahmoud Farghali, thanked everyone for supporting his family and praying for his little kid. "I am happy to announce that my daughter is getting better". "She is the daughter of the UAE," he added.
"She has been reborn again here after recovering from the accident and I thank everyone who stood by us during these hard times," he said.
The RAK Civil Defense investigations showed that the window the girl fell from did not meet the minimum safety requirements and announced plans to conduct safety checks on windows in high-rise residential buildings across the emirate.
