Udupi : D. K. Shivakumar is not the first politician to have been raided by Enforcement Directorate. He already faces some previous cases about amassing illegal wealth, said Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, District President of Bharatiya Janata Party.

Addressing a press conference at BJP district office, Kadiyali on Saturday, September 7, Mattar Rathnakar Hegde said that several cores of cash were found at D K Shvakumar’s House. Hence, the case now gone to ED and raids and investigation carried on. Doing wrong things and then blaming Narendra Modi is not justified, he said.

Mattar Rathnakar Hegde said that the newly appointed state president of BJP, Nalin Kumar Kateel will be arriving to Udupi and grand felicitation ceremony would be organized in honour of the newly appointed state president Nalin Kumar Kateel on September 10 at Sheshashayana Hall, Kidiyoor Hotel Udupi.

Mattar said that a grand welcome would be extended to Nalin Kumar Kateel on his arrival at the district border at Hejamady toll gate. Later, a vehicular rally will be taken out from Jodukatte, near Big Bazar here and grand procession will be organized from Jodukatte to Kidiyoor Hotel.

Rathnakar Hegde said that Nalin Kumar Kateel became the BJP state president and Kota Srinivas Poojary became the minister for Mujarai, ports and fisheries. We have hope from both of them to honest efforts towards twin district overall development.

Mattar Rathnakar Hegde pointed out some of the achievements of Narendra Modi Government since 100 days. Chandrayana 2 should be successful, we must appreciate the efforts of our scientists and also on Modi for his confidence in ISRO scientists.
