Udupi : Srishti Nritya Kala Kuteera Udupi in coordination with Sri Krishna Mutt Paryaya Sri Palimar Mutt Udupi is presenting Nrithyothsava-2019 ib 10^th Thursday and 11^th Friday October at Rajangana Sri Krishna Mutt from 8am to 9.30pm.

Addressing a media conference at Udupi Press Club on Wednesday, 9^th October, Dr. Manjari Chandra Pushparaj said that the festival of Bharathanatyam will be inaugurated by Vidyadhesha Theertha Swamiji pf Paryaya Palimar Mutt, Udupi.

The inaugural function will be graced by the honourable guests Ms. Tulsi Devadiga Katapadi, Major G C Rajashekar, M S Vishnu and Ms Padmalatha on 10^th October there will be 5 solo, 2 duets and one trio dancing performances throughout the day.

Evening from 7pm to 89pm Srishtians will present “Nrithya Margam” with Puspanali, Alaripu, Jathiswara, Shabdam, Varna, Krithis, Nottuswara, Devarnaama, Kavadi and Thillana having 65 students of Srishti trained by Vid Dr. Manhari Chandra Pushparaj. This even is supported by the vocalist vid. Balasubramanya Sharma, Mridangam by vid. Janardhan Rao, Flute by Vid Nithish Ammannaya, choregraphy and natuvangam by vid. Dr. Manjari Chandra Pushparaj.

On 11^th October the second day 6 solo performances and 2 duet performances throughout the day starting at 8.30am. Evening from 3pm dance drama will be held.

The valedictory function will be graced by Sri Vidyadeesha Swamiji of Paryaya Palimar mutt and Kota Srinivas Poojary, Minister of state for Fisheries and Ports, Suresh Shetty Gurme, Ravi Devadiga, and others will present.

The two day festival of Bharathnatyam will conclude with the main attraction ‘Mahakali’ Nrithya Roopaka at 8 pm presented by Sristhi senior artistes. Special graphical effects are going to enrich the whole event.
