Karnataka Sangha Qatar - ICBF chartered second flight from Doha to Bangalore took off yesterday, June 30 at 11:00 AM and will reach Bangalore Airport by 18:00 pm, it was a very big relief for Kannadigas people, 

news24 also had made a big efforts to reach out the the messages to Karnataka govt about the pain under going by our kannadigas in Qatar to get more flights.

Union minister Sadananda Gowda, PS to DVS Mr. Govardan, Additional Chief Secretary Ravi Kumar, DC Meena Nagaraj, Special Officer to Chief Minister Dr. Karthik for the swift support for the state approvals.

Repatriation list was prepared by Karnataka Sangha in coordination with Embassy of India priority was given to elderly people, pregnant ladies, low paid workers who have lost there jobs. 5 free tickets in this flight was given by ICBF to needy passengers. 

Behind this flight lot of efforts was done by Mahesh Gowda Vice President, Indian Community Benevolent Forum, Subramanya Hebbagelu, Joint Secretary Indian Community Benevolent Forum, Nagesh Rao, President, Karnataka Sangha Qatar, Muralidhar Rao, General Secretary, Karnataka Sangha, Sandeep Reddy Ex General Secretary Karnataka Sangha.

We can expect more charted flights to Bangalore and Mangalore by ICBF and Karnataka Sangha and more Vande Bharath flights in coming weeks.
