Print Udupi : As many as 180 new cases tested for coronavirus positive reported in Udupi district on Thursday, October 15, which takes the total positive cases in the district are 20,275.
According to the district health bulletin to the media, among 180 covid positive cases, 50 cases reported as symptomatic, out of which 32 are male and 18 are females, meanwhile out of 130 cases of asymptomatic, 73 are males and 57 are females.
Among 180 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 70 from Kundapura 60 and Karkala taluk are 48 and from other districts are 2.
Details of admissions/Isolation on October 15 are: Out of 180 positive cases, COVID care Centre and in designated COVID Hospital, in designated COVID Health Hospital are 14 and Home Isolation is 166.
A total of 1,51,148 samples have been collected so far including 1472 on 15.10.2020, A total of 1,30,873 samples have turned out to be negative so far in the district, including 1293 on today. Total discharged patients till today are 18,154 patients including 253 today.
As many as 20,275 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district including 180 today. Till today 170 persons are succumbed to death due to Coronavirus in the district.
