COVID-19 updates in Udupi district: 211 new cases and 2 deaths on Friday

Udupi : As many as 211 new cases tested for coronavirus positive reported in Udupi district on Friday, October 16, which takes the total positive cases in the district are 20,477 and two deaths reported.
According to the district health bulletin to the media, among 211 covid positive cases, 41 cases reported as symptomatic, out of which 24 are male and 17 are females, meanwhile out of 170 cases of asymptomatic, 77 are males and 93 are females.
Among 211 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 85 from Kundapura 59 and Karkala taluk are 64 and from other districts are 2.
Details of admissions/Isolation on October 16 are: Out of 211 positive cases, COVID care Centre and in designated COVID Hospital, in designated COVID Health Hospital are 44 and Home Isolation is 167.
A total of 1,52,981 samples have been collected so far including 1833 on 16.10.2020, A total of 1,32,504 samples have turned out to be negative so far in the district, including 1632 on today. Total discharged patients till today are 20,477 patients including 201 today.
As many as 20,477 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district including 211 today. Till today 172 persons are succumbed to death due to Coronavirus in the district including 2 deaths today, October 16.
