Udupi :  130 new cases tested for coronavirus positive reported in Udupi district on Sunday, October 18, which takes the total positive cases in the district are 20,830.
 According to the district health bulletin to the media, among 130 covid positive cases, 42 cases reported as symptomatic, out of which 25 are male and 17 are females, meanwhile out of 88 cases of asymptomatic, 37 are males and 51 are females.

Among 130 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 52 from Kundapura 44, Karkala taluk are 31 and from other districts are 3.
Details of admissions/Isolation on October 18 are: Out of 130 positive cases, COVID care Centre and in designated COVID Hospital, in designated COVID Health Hospital are 17 and Home Isolation is 113.

A total of 1,57,115 samples have been collected so far including 2255 on 17.10.2020, A total of 1,36,285 samples have turned out to be negative so far in the district, including 2123 on today. Total discharged patients till today are 18932 patients including 154 today.

 As many as 20,830 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district including 130 today. Till today 173 persons are succumbed to death due to Coronavirus in the district. No death cases reported today on Sunday.
