COVID-19 updates on Sunday : 118 new cases, tally increases to 21524

Udupi : As many as 118 new cases tested for coronavirus positive and no death reported in Udupi district on Sunday, October 25 which takes the total positive cases in the district are 21,524
According to the district health bulletin to the media, among 118 covid positive cases, 28 cases reported as symptomatic, out of which 16 are male and 12 are females, meanwhile out of 90 cases of asymptomatic, 58 are males and 32 are females.
Among 118 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 58, from Kundapura 25, Karkala taluk are 34 and from other districts is one.
Details of admissions/Isolation on October 25 are: Out of 118 positive cases, COVID care Centre and in designated COVID Hospital, in designated COVID Health Hospital are 23 and Home Isolation is 95.
A total of 1,70,583 samples have been collected so far including 2876 till 24.10.2020, A total of 1,49,059 samples have turned out to be negative so far in the district, including 2710 till on 24.10.2020. Total discharged patients till today are 20102 patients including 175 till on 24.10.2020
As many as 21,524 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district including 106@ 24.10.2020. Till today 178 persons are succumbed to death due to Coronavirus in the district. No death case reported today on Sunday, October 25.
