Udupi : 44 new cases tested for coronavirus positive and one death reported in Udupi district on Monday, October 26 which takes the total positive cases in the district are 21,597.

 According to the district health bulletin to the media, among 44 covid positive cases, 8 cases reported as symptomatic, out of which 5 are male and 3 are females, meanwhile out of 36 cases of asymptomatic, 15 are males and 21 are females.

Among 44 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 19, from Kundapura 19, Karkala taluk are 6 and from other districts are nil.

Details of admissions/Isolation on October 26 are: Out of 44 positive cases, COVID care Centre and in designated COVID Hospital, in designated COVID Health Hospital are 3 and Home Isolation is 41.

A total of 1,72,843 samples have been collected so far including 2260 till 25.10.2020, A total of 1,51,246 samples have turned out to be negative so far in the district, including 2199 till on 25.10.2020. Total discharged patients till today are 20301 patients including 199 till on 25.10.2020

As many as 21,597 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district including 61@ 25.10.2020. Till today 179 persons are succumbed to death due to Coronavirus in the district. One death case reported today on Monday, October 26.
