Udupi : As many as 26 new cases tested for coronavirus positive  reported in Udupi district on Friday, November 27, tally increased to 22,608.

 According to the district health bulletin to the media, among 29 covid positive cases, 15 cases reported as symptomatic, out of which 6 are male and  8 are female, meanwhile out of 14 cases of asymptomatic, 8 are males and 7 are females.

Among 29 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 10, from Kundapura 16, Karkala taluk are 2, and from other districts is one.

Place of admission/Isolation numbers are at Covid care centre and designated covid hospital and designated health hospital 4 and Home Isolation 25.

A total of 2,39,172 samples have been collected so far including 2534 on 26.11.2020, A total of 2,16,564 samples have turned out to be negative so far in the district including 2505 on 26.11.2020.. Total discharged patients till today are 22,225 patients including 24 on 26.11.2020.

As many as 22,608 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district including 29@ 26.11.2020. Total active cases today are 196. Till today 187 persons are succumbed to death due to Coronavirus in the district. No death case reported today on Friday, November 27.
