Covid -19 on Wednesday: 89 new cases, 428 active in Udupi

Udupi : As many as 89 new cases for Covid – 19 test positive in Udupi district on Wednesday, April 7.
According to the district health bulletin to the media, among 89 covid positive cases, 23 cases reported as symptomatic which 14 are male and 9 are female, meanwhile out of 66 cases of asymptomatic, 32 are male and 34 female.
Among 89 positive cases, whereas positive cases from Udupi are 40 and out of that 29, from Kundapura 38, Karkala taluk is 10 and from other districts is 1.
Place of Admission/Isolation will be designated Covid Health Hospital patients are 11 and at Home Isolation are 68. Total active cases are 428. Total tested on 6.04.2021 are 2681 and discharges 59. Total deaths in the district are 192. Total positives in the district are 25720.
