ಪಠ್ಯದ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಜತೆಗೆ ಅದರ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆಯೂ ಆಗಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮೂಲ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಈಡೇರುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿರುವ ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊರತರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದುದು ಎಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಶಾರದಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಎಂ. ಬಿ. ಪುರಾಣಿಕ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಅವರು ಇಂದು ಮಣಿಪಾಲದ ಮಾಧವ ಕೃಪಾ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ "ಸ್ಕಿಲ್ ಅಪ್" ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ನಡೆಯುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಶಾಲಾ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಿ. ಜಿ. ಪಂಡಿತ್ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೆಸ್ಸಿ ಆ್ಯಂಡ್ರ್ಯೂವ್ಸ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶಕಿಲಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಸಂತೋಷ್, ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಆಶಾ ನಾಯಕ್ ಅಮ್ಮು0ಜೆ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಭಾರತಿ ಬಾಳಿಗಾ ಕೆ. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ, ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
