Udupi: Why Kendriya Vidyalaya near to the dumping yard? - Ansar Ahmed

Print Udupi : The Kendriya Vidyalaya is the Union government’s project working with very bad instances in the district, alleged by Ansar Ahmed, President of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (Praveen Shetty wing).
Speaking in a press meet held at Udupi Pathrika Bhavan near here on Friday, Ansar Ahmed said that all over the country there are 1255 units of Kendriya Vidyalaya in which around 13,87,767 students are studying. There are around 400 students studying in Kendriya Vidyalaya unit situated at Pragathi Nagar at Manipal.
The said center is situated very close to the dumping yard which is very difficult for citizens living in this area. The Kendriya Vidyalaya should establish that the students could live and study peacefully and healthily, Ansar Ahmed said.
The district administration, Union Government and state government should give importance to the safeguard of the students along with the need to establish the unit with a good environment. Karnataka Rakshana Vedike warned the authorities to solve the problem immediately on the ground of good environmental manners, said Ansar Ahmed.
He also said that there are severe problems with dialysis units at District Government Hospital, Ajjarkad and the concerned authorities and the government should give importance to the dialysis units of the hospital. The concerned authorities and the government should take action as soon as possible, if not the Vedike will launch a severe protest against the government.
