The most awaited event of the year 2011 is just a fortnight away. The Sambhram – 2011 will mark the decennial celebrations of Bellevision UAE, a premier association of Belleans in the United Arab Emirates. 

The Sambram 2011 promises to be an entertainment extravaganza and is set to make a memorable event on Friday, 4^th February 2011 at Dubai Grand Hotel – Pool Side, 11 a.m. onwards.  The day promises to be filled with entertainment galore, with live music, rib tickling stand up comedy, scintillating dance performances, sumptuous buffet lunch and spot prizes.

Konkani’s number one singer, Dream Boy of Konkani, winner of ‘Best Singer’ Award at Global Konkani Music Award-2011, Rony D’Cunha, will be the star performer.  Gulf Voice of Mangalore (GVM) -1 runner-up Dony Correa,  Preema D’Souza, an accomplished Konkani singer who has rendered her melodious voice to some of the popular Konkani numbers and has also sung in more than 50 albums, Goan singer Maria, Godwin D’Souza, a native of Belle and Loreen Machado with her awe-inspiring voice are all set to capture audience’ hearts along with some foot tapping music by Arun Carlo and his troupe.  The event will be compered by Uttam Menezes and the Feetbeat dance group will regale the audience with their exciting dances. 

“The proceeds of this mega event will go to the charitable activities and social causes such as educating the deserving students from the economically weaker sections and so forth” said the organizing committee of the event.
