Udupi : The Health Commission, Kallianpur Deanery in collaboration with the Health Commission, Diocese of Udupi organized Nurses and Paramedical staff get together at Mount Rosary Millennium Hall, Santhekatte near here on Sunday, 18^th December, 2016.

Addressing with nurses and paramedical staff of Kallianpur Deanery, Bishop Most Rev Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo said that Holy Church organizes various get together programmes in regard to the diocesan 18 various commissions in support to continuation of commission’s works. Jesus overcomes the needs of the people by helping them. Similar mission of Jesus has to follow by his worshipers in various commissions like Health Commission of the diocese. Indeed Jesus helped those who were in need during their difficulties. Our Udupi Diocese is rich in various resources provided by God. We must utilize the various resources by helping others like Jesus. Meanwhile the Mission of Nurses and paramedical staff also the part of the Jesus mission. The various programmes like get together of nurses and paramedical staff will helps to implementation, facilitation, coordination etc all activities relating to health. By organizing awareness programmes, we can face good health of our people, he said.

The get together programme began with invocation prayer dance by Mount Rosary English School. Bishop inaugurated the programme with lighting the lamp. The director of Health Commission of the Diocese Rev Fr. Denis D’ Sa, also former Administrative Director of Fr. Muller’s  Medical College and Prathiba Lydia Braggs D’Souza, Principal of Danwanthari Nursing College, Udupi  were the resource persons.

Earlier Rev Fr. Anil Fernandes, Capuchin, Asst Parish priest of Mount Rosary also director of Health Commission, Kallianpur Deanery welcomed the gatherings. Dolphy D’ Lima Convener of Health Commission, Diocese of Udupi also present on the dais.

Large number of nurses and paramedical staff were present. Dr. Nisha Rebello compered the programme. Dr. D’Lima of Barkur also present during the get together programme.
