Udupi : The Bharatiya Janata Party as per the state committee will stage a protest against the state government’s failure in most of the problems of the state on 20^th February, 2017, said Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, BJP District Committee President.

He was speaking with media persons at a press meet at BJP party office on Saturday, 18^th February, said that in Udupi district a protest will be staged at the clock tower near service bus stand, Udupi at 3pm. The Congress government in the state failed in all development activities. The people of state thought good governance will be provided after the Siddaramaiha government came to power. But all expectations from the government not fulfilled since 4 years of ruling and ruling chief minister’s seat kept strong with keeping faith high command.

The chief minister completely lost his hand with cabinet members. The government is not in the position to remove Anjeneya, a cabinet member due to his corruption charges. There is information about the Chief Minister Siddaramaiha that he had paid Rs. 1000 crore to Congress High Command. The IT department conducted raid on Small Scale Industries Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, but Siddaramaiha did not take any action nor he dropped him from his cabinet. The IT department also raided KPCC Women’s Wing President Laxmi Hebbalkar house and seized Rs. 162.06 crore including Rs. 41 lakh worth new Rs. 2000 currency notes. But Siddaramaiha did not take any action and he supported in the case. But it will be unfortunate that Siddaramaiha is trying to twist the issue by targeting BJP leaders.

Mattar Rathnakar Hegde said that Siddaramaiha government most corrupt than previous UPA government at centre. Speaking with the CD of conversation between Yeddyrappa and Ananth Kumar which shows that the two leaders engaged in private conversation at a BJP function, Mattar Rathnakar Hegde said that the tape was completely turned clipping of the conversation. The congress is misleading the people in regard to CD.

The law and order situation in the state has been completely out of control by the state government. The ruling Congress party during came to power was promised 165, out of than nothing get fulfilled. We have lost faith in the Congress government.

Speaking with the toll collection issue Mattar Rathnakar said that we are against the collecting the toll in the sense that the NH 66 construction work not completed 90%. There should not be need to collect toll from Hejamady and Sasthan toll plazas. Regarding the toll collection issue Shobha Karandleje met with Nithin Gadkari Union Minister of Highways against the toll collection. Pramod Madhwaraj district in charge minister never raised toll issue point in the assembly session. District administration is coming under the district in charge minister. He can solve the problem and should delay the collection of toll. The toll collecting companies are different in Surathkal and Hejamady.

During the press meet Raghupathy Bhat former MLA, Gurme Suresh Shetty, Kulaidy Suresh Shetty, Yashpal Suvarna, Katapady Shanker Poojary, Shymala Kundar, Suprasad Shetty, Prabhakar Poojary and Kuthyaru Naveen Shetty were present.
