Udupi : The inauguration of “Summer Camp 2017” of Milagres Educational Institutions held at Milagres College Grounds, Kallianpur near here on Saturday, 1^st April, 2017.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo, Correspondent of Milagres Institutions was inaugurated the Summer camp with lighting the lamp. Rtm Iqbal Hammaji President, Rotary Club, Kallianpur was the chief guest. Rev Fr. Prakash Anil Castelino Campus Director Milagres Institutions and Arun D’Souza Designate President of Rotay Club, Kallianpur were the guests of honour.

In his address Fr. Prakash Anil Castelino said that the discipline in the life is very important. It would be makes possible while shining in sports as well as academic studies. He gave illustrious that some of the students of Milagres Institutions shining in State and National Level with tremendous achievements in sports as well as academic year that some sportsmen topers in studies also.

He said that in order to organize such summer sports camps would be one will able to get discipline, lots of fun, rest for parents, fitness with healthy body and mind which will be most important one’s life of the students. This vast ground, vast atmosphere and environment and vast mind should take advantage in Summer sports camp for the students at large.

Rtn Iqbal Hammaji gave his message on the summer camp and promised to give help and guidance from his side. Prajna Janardhan Kodavoor placed her views on encouragement from the institutions and the parents and that leads her shining in national level games.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo in his presidential address appreciated the students of Milagres who shining in national level and he wished them with lots of heavens blessings for the achievers and called to other students who participating the camp should take advantage in the summer camp. He gave gratitude to all the physical directors and teachers of the Milagres Educational Institutions for the marvelous their support for the students and the management.

Earlier after the invocation prayer by the students, National level sportsman Sunny welcomed the gatherings. Kavana proposed vote of thanks while Vinay Sheth Physical teacher of Milagres compered the programme.

During the occasion former Zonal Vice Governor of Rotary International and Milagres College Alumni Association President Rtn Allen Vinay Lewis, Rev Fr. Victor Fernandes Principal of Milagres English School, Savitha Kumari Principal of Milagres PU College, Veera D’Silva Headmistress of Milagres English Medium School, Rotarian past president Vijay Mayadi, PTA President of Milages English School, Rotarian members and other well wishers’ were present.

During the occasion Very Rev Fr. Stany Lobo and Arun D’ Souza felicitated Departmental, State and National level achievers of Milagres Students held .

They were :

Prathiksha, Prajna Kodavoor and Priyanka, IInd Place in National level,

Chaitra – Under 19 National level Cricketer and also Karnataka State Women Cricket Team member,

Vian Mascarenhas – National level Table Tennis Player,

Valonia  Mascarenas – National level Table Tennis Player,

Amar, Abin Devadiga, Disha and other National level Athlets; 

The summer camp will be held for 30 days in Milagres Educational Institutions with top graded Seven Physical teachers and directors along with many more coaches.
