Print Kemmannu, April 3, 2017: Catholic Sabha. Kemmannu unit celebrated its Annual Day on Sunday, April 02 and on this occasion felicitated the outstanding performers of the church in academics and other fields.
The students who were felicitated were Master Bynal Quadros, who recently received the Gold Medal from Mangalore University for his excellent performance in Accountancy scoring 300/300 in final year B.com Degree.
Master Blencil Lewis was honored for being the best outgoing student of 2016-17 in Milagres College Kallianpur and him being the Table Tennis champion of Milagres College representing the college in inter college and University level Tournaments.
Miss Jovita Andrade for being an excellent outstanding NCC Cadre who had represented zonal level competitions and had won several prestigious awards and also for representing her zone in Republic Day Parade in New Delhi last year.
Students who won First Prize in Diocesan Catechism exams Miss Jenisha Jernis, SSLC, Jacinta Santis and Princivia Lewis of 7th standard were also honored on the occasion.
Parish Priest Fr. Ferdinand Gonsalves along with Catholic Sabha office bearers were present during the occasion. Unit President Mrs. Jyothi Lewis welcomed the gathered; Secretary Mrs. Jyothi Lewis presented the annual report of the unit.
Mr. Ronald Menezes introduced the honored students. Mr. Thomas D’ Souza compeered the programme.
