Udupi : The state government will decided to cancel the limit of Rs. 2 lakh for medical expenses under Yaseshwani Scheme and in future up to full medical treatment under the scheme will be provided, said Pramod Madhwaraj, Minister for Fisheries, Youth Empowerment and Sports, Karnataka Government.

He was speaking after laying foundation stone ceremony for new building of Community Health Centre, Brahmavar. The programme was organized by District Administration, Zilla Panchayat Udupi, Karnataka Health System Development and Developments Project.

He said that since 8 years, there was no appointment of doctors, nurses and other technical staff had done. Now the state government appointed doctors, nurses and other technical staff and so that there has no shortage of such staff in the government hospitals. Therefore it would be possible to state government for the providing better medical services. This year in the budget, Rs. 1000 has allotted to Asha workers. Nevertheless, on the medicines 90% reduction rate than market price will be available. The government thinking the free dialysis service for the public.

The proposed Community Health Centre in Brahmavar planning to establish 30 beds at the cost of Rs. 9.36 crore which will be include emergency unit, Ex-ray  Room, well established operation theatre room, Laboratory. Not only that solar hot water system, cold storage for death bodies, borewell and sufficient doctors will be provided.

The state government will be planning to establish hostel for 16 D-group medical persons and within one year the project will be completed.
