Manipal : The Souza’s new household name in consumer durables, Souza Electronics and Furniture opened new branch at Manipal Sairam Central Mall, Syndicate Circle, here on Monday, 1^st May, 2017.

The mega new unit was inaugurated by Oscar Fernandes, Rajya Sabha member and former minister by cutting the ribbon. Pramod Madhwaraj Minister for Fisheries, Sports and Youth Empowerment, Shobha Karandleje Member of Parliament Udupi-Chickmagaluru, Jerry Vincent Dias, President of Udupi Builders’ Association,  M.A. Gafoor of Minority Commission, Govt. of Karnataka, Tengale Vikramarjuna Hegde, State BJP secretary, Narasimhamurthy President of UUDA, Kishan Hegde Kolkebail of district cooperatives union and other among were present during the inauguration.

Rev Fr. Fredrick D’souza Parish Priest of Manipal Church and Very Rev Fr. Fredrick Mascarenhas were blessed the retail outlet showroom.

Airody Ghanshtam Pai of Airody Radhakrishna Pai and Sons Udupi the first purchaser of the product from the showroom also present and purchased the product with cash payment instantly.

Walter D’souza and Leela D’Souza, Dr. Christopher and Bettina D’Souza, Christana D’Souza and others were present.

Speaking to media persons, Dr. Christopher D’Souza Managing Partner of the mega retail showroom said that this is 12^th retail showroom and second showroom in Udupi. The main objective of the retail outlet is to give better service to the purchaser. He said up to now, best cooperation and support received from the people and more such support we need from the public.

Dr. Christopher D’Souza said that much of the consumer products like Sony T.V.s, Refrigerators, Air Conditioners, Washing machines, coolers, Mixers, grinders, induction stoves, gas stoves, irons, fans, ovens, geysers, vivo smart phones and other kitchen utility items, Cashew nuts  and dry fruits items, Various household furniture items and other necessary items available in the Mega retail showroom. He said that as an inaugural offer 25% discount and other lucky offers are available on purchase up to fifteen days.

Recently the Souza group launched its retail outlet for cashews and dried fruits outlet, the “S-Nuts” at Big Bazar buildings at Udupi Church compound which cashew nuts, almonds, dates, pistachios, figs, walnuts, apricots, raisins, salted and flavoured cashews, gift boxes are also available at the Souza’s in Manipal.
