Udupi : I am proud that I born in Udupi. It is my destiny that I am from Udupi. The beauty of the Udupi now changed, said Padmanabha B. Acharya, Governor of Nagaland State.

He was speaking at a public function held as part of ‘Brahmakalashotsava’ celebrations of Sri Krishna Temple at Udupi on Tuesday, 16th May, 2017.

Earlier 1,008 silver pitches also called rajatha kalashas were brought in procession from Jodukatte, near Big Bazar to the temple along with Hore Kanike by large people.

Mr Acharya said that we believe that our country should be very strong. Meanwhile eastern states of India should be developed. India is secular democratic country with diversity. It would be fair to help the eastern states by the intellectuals, leaders and social thinkers as a part to growth of eastern states. There are more than 500 languages spoken in eastern states like Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim. He emphasized on more student exchange programmes from the northeast to Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts.

He also said that majority of the people living in hill areas without much education and standard of living. There are more than 300 separatists groups prevailed in eastern states. There would be need to become strong eastern India. So the people of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada should come to eastern parts of India and give their contribution for the development. Around 3000 people visited to Nagaland after my take over as Governor of Nagaland.

Udupi and D.K districts have more than eight medical colleges and engineering colleges. There is no medical college in Nagaland. The hundreds’ of students’ who are study medical and engineering courses in Udupi and D.K. from eastern parts of India.

Sri Sri Vidyasagaratheertha Swamiji of Krishnapur Mutt also spoke during the occasion and appreciated Paryaya Vishweshatheertha Swamiji for his role in growth of Sri Krishna Mutt.

U. T. Khader, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Government of Karnataka said that the spirituality need every human being which was the best antidote to stress that the fast paced modern life had brought with it. Spirituality leads success in the life. It is difficult to believe man one another. During the era of facebook and whatsapp the religious programmed needed in order to keep humanity alive.

India was a country known for its humanity. People should not forget being humane to their fellow beings and helping them. God is one power. There should be needed to keep faith on God. We should leave tension and love with God which would be get success in the life and get love and affection with other, he said.

Dr. D. Veerendra Heggde, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala appreciated the role of Pajawar Mutt Swamiji for the religious development of the people.

Sri Sri Vishweshatheertha Swamiji of Paryaya Pejawar Mutt gave gratitude to all concerned on the occasion of Brahmakalshotsava celebrations.

Earlier Vedamurthi Vijayendra Acharya preached on the religious understandings. Karnataka Bank President P. Jayaram Bhat also spoke during the occasion. Sri Sri Vishwaprasanhatheertha Junior Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt present on the dias. Vasudev Bhat compered the programme.
