Udupi :Vishwa Bunts Naadavara Janajaagrathi Balaga (Reg), Vasanth Nagar, Bengaluru members condemned self proclaimed Swami for his various activities and filing a police complaint against five persons at Brahmavar Police Station. They called to stage token protest against Swamiji at  Bunts Bhavan, Brahmavar at 3 pm on Saturday, 3^rd June, 2017.

Speaking to media persons at Udupi Press Club on Thursday, 1^st June, M. Chandrashekar Hegde Convener, said that Self proclaimed swami, Vishwa Santhosh Bharati Swamiji, two years back had started Ashram called ‘Bunts Mahasamsthana’ and tried to make it a Bunta Peeta. In the backdrop, he had changed its name to ‘Barkur Mahasamsthana Bhargava Beedu, where establishment of Tulunadu Daivas and other practives took place. He tried to portray himself as the ‘Kulaguru’ of Bunts community. In regard to this, Vishwa Bunts Naadavara Janajaagrathi Balaga questioned about the Swamiji about his activities in the name of Bunts community, he filed a police complaint on the community’s five social thinkers in Brahmavar Police station with false accusations on them.

On behalf of Swamiji, the complaint had been filed by Anil Kumar Shetty, Samsthaana’s Administration Officer with allegation that the five members have tried to take Swamiji’s life, Chandrashekar Hegde said.

Mr A. N. Shetty President of said Janajaagrathi Balaga said that we have no personal grudges and there is no protest on individual. We are fighting on religious principles. We do not want a peeta and we are against the peeta. If we do not have a protest against the activities of the Swamiji, there could be chances of more complaints against Bunts community who oppose his motives. He said that Swamiji is trying to create enmity with our community. We respect all religious leaders like swamijis. But this swami trying to shut our mouths that we are opposes his motives.

Shetty said that they had protested against the establishment of peeta in their Brahmavar Auditorium in 2014 and also we alleged that the swami is married and has a son and is enjoying the worldly pleasures in life. He has influencing the religious and cultural proceedings of the coastal region for his own benefits and selfishness. The swami is already a peetadhipathi of one peeta and it would be clear that the new peeta is a nothing but money making technique. But we can’t see any social work has been done with it.
