Udupi : District BJP slamming Dakshina Kannada in-charge Minister B. Ramanath Rai for repeated untoward incidents and unrest in Dakshina Kannada and clamping section 144 for nearly 45 days in the district while district in-charge minister and U T Khader were directly responsible for the untoward incidents in the district.

Speaking to media persons at District BJP office at Kunjibettu near here on Wednesday, 12^th July, 2017, Mattar Rathnakar Hegde District BJP President said that the undivided district there was no history in regard to very long untoward incidents. Now in DK district for more than 45 days prohibitory orders clamped in entire district. There were untoward incidents in only two taluks that is at Bantwal and Ullal. But the administration has clamped the section in entire district including taluks like Puttur, Belthangady and Sullia for no reason. All these untoward incidents happened due to the two ministers in the district.

Congress with the influence of SDPI and other fundamental association just for the benefit in the elections, all these untoward incidents took place.

Asking query, Raghupathy Bhat former MLA said that it is due to complete irresponsibility of the district in-charge Minster Pramod Madhwaraj, the private bus owners association brought stay order to JnNURM buses service in Udupi district. Bhat said that the blaming on BJP leaders on the issue is baseless. It is BJP government brought KSRTC Volvo services to the city. BJP is not against the JnNURM bus service, but we against the way the buses introduced without any preparation, Bhat said.

Bhat alleged that some weeks before it was Congress leaders like Oscar Fernandes, Abhayachandra Jain taken delegation to Transport Minister Reddy in relate to against the KSRTC bus service in the undivided district. The more congressmen are members in the Bus Operators Association which the BJP leaders like Suresh Nayak and Vilas Nayak also members. We are welcoming the introduction of these buses in the city. But, we blame completely Pramod Madhwaraj for his mismanagement in timings of the buses and so on.
