Print Udupi : District Legal Services Authority along with Rotary Club, Udupi organized inauguration of the MAMATHEYA THOTTILU, the release of the book Vyatheya Kathe, felicitation to the members of the Child Welfare Committee and conferring of the T.V. Rao Award at Krishnanvgraha Adoption Centre and Fit institution at Vasundara Nagar, Ahsirvad-Malpe Road, Santhekatte here on Thursday, 31st August, 2017.
The programmme started with invocation prayer by adopted children of the Krishnanvgraha Adoption Centre and also Mamatheya Thottilu inaugurated with cutting the ribbon by the children.
The programme was inaugurated by Sandhya S. Pai Managing Editor of Taranga, Illustrated Kannada Weekly.
Dr. Sanjeeva Patil IPS, District Superintendent of Police, Sandya S Pai and others were speaking during the occasion.
Earlier Dr Umesh Prabju Chairman, Sri Krishna Charitable Trust Udupi gave keynote address. Sandhya S Pai released the book Vyatheya Kathe in Kannada.
Tallur Shivaram Shetty was conferred of the T. V. Rao Award during the occasion nu the guests on the dais.
The members of the Child Welfare Committee were felicitated by the guests on the dais. Mrs Vanitha Torvi Hon’ble member, Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Bangaluru, B. K. Narayan Hon’ble Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee, Udupi District, Rtn Ramachandra Upadhyaya President of Rotary Club Udupi and other among were present on the dais.
Avinash Kamath anchor of Spandana TV compered the programme. Uday Kumar Administrative Officer of Krishnavgraha welcomed the gatherings.
