Udupi : Unavailability of blood and blood donors or inaccessibility of ambulance during emergencies takes away thousands of precious lives every year. More often than not, people struggle to get to the right source. To help the needy and provide timely healthcare services at the click of a button, ‘iRelief Healthcare Services’, an aggregator for healthcare services has launched an app.

ddressing to media persons during the press meet at Udupi Press Club here on Friday, 15^th September, 2017, Shujath Pasha, CEO and MD of iRelief Healthcare Services, said that IRelief Healthcare Services that has spread its wings in Bangaluru and other neighboring areas wants to make it presence felt in Udupi. The user friendly app launched by the company can easily help registered users to find blood donours and ambulances during medical emergencies.

iRelief is an aggregator for healthcare services and provides innovative technology solutions based services in the domain of healthcare, ranging from ambulance, blood bank, homecare and pharmacy. We have started this initiative to provide quality services pertaining to emergency and planned healthcare facilities, he said.

The App launched by iRelief will make emergency services easily available with just a click. We are working along with the government, which has provided us with all the data that will be made accessible to the patients any time through the user-friendly interface. Our App will provide location based emergency services and every individual can track the process as well, he said.

Elaborating further, he said, Our company has signed a MoU with government of Karnataka and a few blood banks across the state. Our App will indicate real time availability of blood components with the optional delivery of blood units. The first of its kind in the state, the App provides location based information integrated with all the vendors, he added.

This ambitious initiative by iRelief extends its timely support to people during medical emergencies. Those who are interested to get the service can download the App from the Google play store and install it on their mobile phone to be a registered user. The app helps every individual and families during emergencies, he said.
