Diwali Celebration with WE District Cabinet Meet was held with pomp and  fervor, Great warmth and intensity of emotion, recently states WE District President 323  WE Sudha Shah.

In this event too Diwali festival fever showed by the members, as some members danced with small children mostly from poor and middle class background  performed at the event, learning Dance at 8 COUNTS DANCE STUDIO, under Mahesh Jaiswal Sir.

Added Focal Point, Peak and rather Glitter to the event is by In House member WE Anu Malla, an Image Management Professional Association Thane CHAPTER  HEAD, as she delivered a POWER TALK on Personal Excellence, as she Puts it stating " EXCELLENCE IS NOT A SKILL, IT IS AN ATTITUDE" an overwhelmed  WE Founder  Kawal Rekhi said.

As always, the 15 clubs under WE District 323, within 3 months, has created all sorts of records, by doing projects worth more than 20 lacs Beneficiaries total nearly 26200 and public, projects done by far off WE club of  New Panvel Steel Town has adopted Karambeli Village in Panvel, other clubs in Navi Mumbai, Thane, Chembur etc doing great projects like chairs and Mobiles to Blind students of Vivek Education Foundation by WE Vasant Vihar club.

Same way Ranbhaji Competition (cooking competition)  in different village of Mokhada Block   at 33 hamlets  block total 894 Women On 28th August at Mokhada aadivasi village costing around Rs.  21,000/- WE Sudha Shah, Dst.President sponsored - Rs.11,000/-.also by clubs, WE Club of chembur, WE Club of Vasant Vihar,WE Club of Navi Mumbai Vashi, WE Club of Green City Thane, WE Club of Upvan Thane, WE Club of West coast.

In future the District has taken up Twinning projects of Rs 6 lakhs toilets to be built in dilapidated school Chatrapati Shivaji Education Society in Ulhas nagar also CCTV Connection to a school in Narayan Nagar, in Ghatkopar Asalpha Village as CCTV in schools are need of the day. Books donated to VLWWCA- RISING STAR LIBRARY Jalgaon by WE Vasant Vihar club ,wherein kids who are unable to read due to non availability of books specially village kids. In this way we are indirectly supporting for Global literaracy along with Go Green by reusing the books.

Also celebrated Birthday of Special Child Satej, (who shares his Birthday with actor Mr Amitabh Bachchan, popularly known as BIG B of KBC going on now on Sony, on 11th October, 2017), son of WE Mala Shetty along with Members & inmates/special children persons who are staying in GOD’s Abode for Lifetime.

GOD’s Abode was constructed by late C R Balasubramanian, Chairman of MBA Foundation who expired in last July, 2016, and now  his wife Mrs Meenakshi Balasubramanian, is the chairperson. A Building comprising of 5 floors, 2nd floor is housing the Inmates who are special and M R children/persons, for Life time making a path towards a STRONGER, HEALTHIER AND HAPPIER LIVING PLACE for our God’s Members as Meenakshi states.

Vasant Vihar and Other clubs in the district has been involved with MBA Foundation( which is 15 years old) since long, this event also they volunteered to help to  finish the Order of making Diyas and other things, along with inmates, as MBA Foundation has got orders from Corporates and others, which they have to supply Pre-Diwali.
