Milagres, Thenkanidyoor and Kaup PG Social Work students Celebrated Elderly Day at Ozonam Old Age Home, Kallianpur.

Udupi, October, 2017: The PG Department of Social Work, Milagres College, Kallianpur in association with PG Department of Social Work Government First Grade College, Thenkanidyoor, Government First Grade College, Kaup and Goretti Hospital, Santhekatte has organized belated celebration of Elderly Day at Ozonam Old Age Home, Kallianpur on 14th October 2017.

Sr. Benni, Incharge of Ozanam Old Age Home, Kallianpur presided over the event,  Mr. Rayan C Mathias, Coordinator, PG Department of Social Work, Milagres College, Kallianpur was the chief guest. Mr. Rakesh , Social Worker, Goretti, Health Care Institutions ( Goretti Hospital) Santhekatte, Kallianpur and many other were present during the event.

Sr Benni welcomed the students of the Society and the inmates of the Ozanam home for the aged. The students conducted programmes like jokes, songs, dance and games.

The inmates actively involved in the get-together and reciprocated well with students.  The prizes were distributed to the winners. According to one of the student who was part of this visit said to this reporter that, we were amazed to see their enthusiasm and participation in the program, some of them shared their ’good old’ stories. We could see smiles on their faces and can’t thank them enough for all the blessings that we received, she concluded.
