Udupi : Milagres English Medium High School Kallianpur near here celebrated Annual Day at Milagres Tri-centenary Hall on Tuesday, 28^th November, 2017.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo presided over the state programme. Priyanka Mary Francis Deputy Commissioner of Udupi district and District Magistrate was the chief guest. Rev Fr. D. Vaz, sj, Rector of St Aloysius Educational Institutions, Mengaluru was guest of honour. Dr. Nery Cornelio Vice President of Milagres Cathedral Parish Pastoral Council, Rev Fr. Lancy Fernandes, sj.,  Principal, Veera D’Silva Headmistress of Milagres English Medium Higher Primary School, PTA President Rathnakar Kotian and Vice President Sundar, SPL  Mohd. Saad and CPL Reshma were present on the dais.

The programme  was begun with invocation. Prashanth welcomed the gatherings. Rev Fr. Lancy Fernandes sj placed very long inspiring academic report of the school.

Topers of previous SSLC examination students were honored during the occasion. The proficiency students and meritorious students in academic and curricular activities also honored. National level sports students also felicitated during the occasion.

In her chief guest address Priyanka Mary Francis, DC said that it would be happy to distribute proficiency prizes which recap my school days memories. The school life is very relevant in school days. It will the place where the students enjoying and preparing for good life. The students not only academic studies but also other curricular activities should participate. Then it will be possible to shape the good future of life. The parents as well as the teachers are the tools of students’ future as I experienced in my life.

The students should take advantage to get guidance and help from the parents as well as teachers. So, it will lead to correct path of life with good future. The parents also behave with their children with intention of their children better career and should ask themselves that what good message shall able to given them. Parents should be honest and punctuality with their children. Destiny is not with our hands, but we should work hard for the better destiny of our life.

The guest of honor, Rev Fr. D. Vaz, sj gave important tips to the students as well as the parents. He appreciated the school and the management for marvelous achievements of the great institution. It is the right selection of the school for the students by the parents who will vast scope for their children future career.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo blessed the occasion and gave his presidential address. He also appreciated the students for their vast talents and achievements. He also gave gratitude to the parents for their selection of one of the top institution.

Nelson D’Souza gave introduction on the chief guest Priyanka Mary Francis.  Mariate Sequiera introduced the guest of honor Fr. D. Vaz, sj,. Sheela Menezes proposed vote of thanks.

Various cultural programmes like skit, dances, folk dances, filmy dances, songs and musical symphony were held with top entertainments. Anushree, Sanchana and Mohd Saad compered better than TV anchors and Radio anchors. The stage programme was beautifully anchored  by Sushmitha.
