Udupi : Bajarang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad has launched massive campaign to strengthen its youth wing by launching a membership drive “Bajarang Dal Bharti Abhiyaan 2018” all over the state from 4^th February, to 18^th February, 2018.

Addressing a press meet at Udupi Press Club to media persons on Saturday, 3^rd January, 2018, Vilas Nayak Pangala, District President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad said that since 30 years Bajarang Dal and VHP all over the country launching massive membership campaign and Bajarang Dal, a strong association consists of more than 85 lakhs. Bajarang Dal has been launching membership drive, every once in five years. Likewise, this year the youth membership drive will launching from 4^th February to 18^th February, he said.

Vilas Nayak said that the VHP has decided to increase the target to 3 lakhs in Karnataka and 40,000 in Udupi district. Presently there are more than 10,000 youth members in Udupi district, he said.

He said that the members of VHP and Bajarang Dal will be visiting the houses of every Hindus to create awareness on joining the Bajarang Dal. After joining in BD, for the new members, one day workshop to be held in every taluk level in order to create awareness on national interest, he said.
