Print 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE INAUGURATION OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH OF OUR LADY , DOHA-QATAR WAS CELEBRATED ON THE 16TH OF MARCH, 2018 (FRIDAY) WITH A CONCELEBRATED SOLEMN HIGH MASS BY OUR NEW PARISH PRIEST, REV.FR. RALLY GONZAGA, REV. FR. ALBERT JOSEPH AND VISITING PRIEST, REV. FR. ABID HABIB.
PARISHIONERS CAME IN BIG NUMBERS FOR THIS SERVICE, AS THEY HOLD THIS DAY VERY DEAR TO THEIR HEARTS, AS THE OPENING OF THIS CHURCH ON 15TH MARCH, 2008 WAS AN ANSWERED PRAYER AND BROUGHT TEARS OF JOY TO ALL PARISHIONERS. THIS DAY GOES DOWN IN THE HISTORY OF THE PARISH OF OUR LADY OF ROSARY, DOHA.
REV. FR. RALLY COMMEMORATED THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CHURCH BY HAVING ONE OF THE CHURCH PILLAR PAINTED IN RED (COLOUR OF MARTYDOM), WITH A CROSS AND PRAYER IN MEMORY OF THOSE PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS. AFTER THE SERVICE, A PROCESSION FROM MAIN CHURCH WAS LED TO THE PILLAR WHERE REV. FR. RALLY ALONG WITH THE OTHER PRIESTS UNVIELED THE PILLAR, PRAYED, INCENSED AND BLESSED IT WITH HOLY WATER. THIS WHOLE CEREMONY WAS VERY PROFOUND AND AFTER WHICH MANY PARISHIONERS THRONGED TO THE PILLAR TO PRAY.
THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF ROSARY, DOHA – QATAR WAS INDEED ANOTHER MEMORABLE DAY TO REMEMBER.
