Udupi : There is no strength to ask votes to state BJP leaders. Hence, Narendra Modi along with other central leaders of BJP is very busy with asking votes in the state legislative assembly elections, said D K Shivakumar, Congress Campaign Chairman and Power Minister of the state.

Speaking to Congress party workers at Congress Bhavan, Brahmagiri here on Wednesday, 2^nd May, DKS said that no ‘achhe din’ availed for the people during the rule of five years of BJP. Congress has maintained the promises made for the people. All over the state people are talking about the Congress achievements with fulfilled promises. Narendra Modi’s rule is like sunset, he said.

He said that all nation watching this particular election. Congress government in the state fulfilled the promises with hard work. Congress is power and strength and that is history. Hence, it is the duty of every congressman to keep congress alive. If Congress gets power in the state, then all people gets the power. BJP saying all Hindus are one, but Congress saying all religious people lives with harmony and unity. We should ask the people that Yeddyurappa’s government necessary or not. So the congress workers should work for to get majority and form the government of Congress party. Pramod Madhwaraj’s success in the election depends on the hand of workers, he said.

During occasion several BJP workers of Padukere like Balaraj, Umesh, Vivek, Deepak, Tarun, Rupesh, Vijeth, Yashawanth, Sunil, Akash, Santhosh and others joined the Congress party.
