Udupi : Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo, presently Rector of Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur has been appointed as Chancellor of Udupi Diocese as per the announcement in Milagres Cathedral during the end of the mass on 20^th May, 2018.

Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo

He will take oath from the Bishop of the diocese Most Rev Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo as Chancellor of the Diocese on 8^th June. Meanwhile Fr. Stany B. Lobo also has been transferred from the Cathedral to St. Francis Xavier’s Church, Udyavar. He will be going on 29^th May. Fr. Stany Lobo served as Rector of the Cathedral, Correspondents of Milagres Educational Institutions, Dean of Kallianpur Deanery and spiritual director of various associations of the parish and deanery.

Rev Fr. Rolwin J. Aranha

He was appointed for Milagres Cathedral prior to the declaration of Udupi Diocese by the Pope. During his seven years of service and leadership he has taken up various developmental work. The renovation of the church, renovation of church hall, renovation of cemetery entrance, blocks on church campus and so on..

Rev Fr. Lawrence D’Souza 

The parish pastoral council will be organising farewell function on Sunday, 27^th May at Milagres Tri-centenary Hall at 9.15 am for all the 4 transferring priests based in Milagres, Kallianpur.

Very Rev Fr. Herald Mathias Superior and Director of Pilar Fathers  transferred to Nagpur and Rev Fr. Nelson Furtado, Vocational Director of Pilar Fathers  transferred to Europe for his missionary service.

Rev Fr. Rolwin J. Aranha, Asst. Parish Priest, Kallianpur will be proceeding for his higher studies, MSc.(Physics) at Manipal and will be residing at St. Francis Xavier’s Church, Udyavar. He served four years in Milagres Cathedral after his ordination.

Very Rev Fr. Lawrence D’Souza, Secretary of Catholic Education Society of Udupi Diocese (CESU) has been appointed in place of Fr. Stany B. Lobo as Rector of Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur. Fr. Lawrence will take charge on 28^th May, 2018. Rev Fr. Canute Noronha, assistant parish priest of Shirva Church will take over as assistant parish priest of Milagres Cathedral, Kallianpur.
