Udupi : Narendra Modi government at the centre has witnessed an extraordinary transformation in the country and progressed under the commitment towards ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ taken by the government in the last four years.

Addressing to media persons at district BJP office on Monday, 11^th June, Mangaluru MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that Udupi-Chickmagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje incidently had held press meet in Mangaluru few days back and now Nalin Kumar Kateel organizing press meet at Udupi which is Shobha Karandlaje constituency. He said that the dream of Swami Vivekanada of Nava Bharath Nirman and Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas proceeding since four of Modi’s governance. President Donald Trump of USA once told that the only country is can counter a strong USA will be none other than India.

The key achievements of Narendra Modi led government that has taken stringent action against corruption. The present nation is going from Kala Dhan to Jan Dhan, from bad governance to good governance which the historic announcement on demonetization to crack down the flow of black money.

He said that under Modi’s leadership the country transforming into a global growth of 31% as compared to that of the World in previous years. In four years the prime minister took immense pride in his government for opening 31.52 crore Jan Dhan accounts over the past four years to serve the banking needs of the poor.

Under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Uogana (PMUY) scheme more than 3.8 crore below poverty line (BPL) families were given free LPG connections. The government launched the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Yojana, no village in India is in darkness. Also the Saubhagya scheme launched by the government ensured that every household is electrified. Under Pradhan Mantri Graha Nirman Yojana two and half crore houses have been built.

He said that heralding a revolution in sanitization, under the Swachh Bharat Mission over 7.25 crore toilets were built. During the past four years the sanitation coverage in the country went up from 38% to 83% in 2018.

In the area of infrastructure, projects worth lakhs of crores of rupees were implemented without a scam. This includes 53,000 km road worth Rs. 5.35 lac crore under the Bharat Mala initiative. More than 1.69 kelometers of rural roads have been built in last four years and the speed of highway construction has gone up from 12km per day to 27 km per day in the last four years. The Bharat mala project of the government aims to connect the entire country with a network of highways at a cost of more than Rs 5,35,000 crore.

Generic medical have been opened to provide medicines lower prices. The people can avail benefits directly into their accounts and the government has been towards creation of jobs.

In order to better health facilities, the affordable and quality health care across the country, under Ayushman Bharat Scheme, the government intends to provide health insurance to 10 crore families. The government also launched Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan scheme to ensure the good health of mother and child.

Kateel also said that Karnataka has received highest central aid of Rs 3 lac crore in four years.
