Udupi : MR ADITYA  S  PARANJAPE, CET Topper of 1999 paid a brief visit to Milagres English Medium School, Kallianpur,  his Alma Mater and was felicitated on August 6^th 2018 near here during the morning special assembly at 10 am.  

He is presently posted as the General Manger in NINJACART, a company dealing with Agri-business Trading  in Jakkasandra, Bengaluru. He has earlier worked as Vice President of Growth & Marketing, Zippserv.com & IDEACLICKS INFOLABS PVT. LTD, Bengaluru.

Aditya Paranjpe was warmly and solemnly welcomed by the colourful School band. A welcome dance performed by students of primary school added charm to the programme. Very Rev Dr Fr Lawrence D’ Souza, Correspondent of Milagres Institutions, Fr Lancy Fernandes SJ, Headmaster, Mrs Veera D’ Silva, Headmistress, Mr Owen Rodrigues, Representative of Managing Committee, along with SPL and ASPL’s of Primary and high school  accompanied the Alumnus Mr Aditya into the school premises.

Mr Aditya in his speech said that he cherished his school days in Milagres the most, because he was motivated to do well not only in studies but also in co-curricular activities. Though he was a stranger to Kannada langauge his teacher motivated him to learn it quickly. He stressed the fact that he even won a prize in Kannada speech competition in the very first year because of his teacher’s persistence. 

Mrs Mariet Rodrigues, his high school teacher recalled and described Aditya as a shy, dedicated and a promising boy during his school days. Rev Dr Fr Lawrence D ‘Souza, Correspondent of Milagres Institutions who presided over the programme felicitated and showered praises on Mr Aditya and commended the students to follow in the footsteps of old boy who walked the portals of the school. He spoke of 3 D’s - Dream, Dedication & Discipline that can lead students to be like Aditya.

Miss Aisha compered the programme and Miss Aaniya proposed the vote of thanks. The programme ended with the singing of school anthem.

After the programme, he had a pep talk with the SSLC students and inspired them with his experience.

Aditya’s Schooling:

He was born in Shringeri in Chikmagalur. Later his family shifted to Mumbai and he completed his early schooling there. After his 7^th grade he shifted to Gopalpura in Udupi along with his family and enrolled in Milagres English Medium for High school from 1994-97.

After completing in high school, he joined MGM college Udupi for Pre-university studies opting for Statistics as his optional subject. In the CET of 1999, he emerged as the topper in our state. Thereafter he opted to continue his studies at NITK Surathkal and completed his B.E. in 2003. After successfully attempting CAT exam he got the opportunity to study at IIM Ahmedabad and completed his PGDM in  (2005)

Family Background:

His parents Mr and Mrs Shrikar & Suma Paranjpe have two children Smita and Aditya. Aditya is presently residing in Bangaluru with his wife Mrs Pallavi whom he married in 2007 and is a father to two daughters.

Aditya’s elder sister Smita too was splendid in her studies. She did her M Sc in Statistics and was a gold medalist.
