Retired Kemmannu Postman, Social Worker Jaya T. Thonse dies in Accident.

Kemmannu, 12 August 2018: In an unfortunate accident Jaya T. Thonse (64) who was seriously injured in a road accident, died on Saturday night in a private Hospital in Udupi. He was involved in the tragic accident on Friday afternoon near the Govt. Jr. College road bus stop. He was hit by another bike from behind while turning right towards Fisheries road travelling from Kemmannu side.  He was rushed immediately to the hospital with serious head injuries but succumbed on Saturday evening.

Son of late Somappa Poojary of Gulibettu Kemmannu, Jaya had served as Postman of Kemmannu for the last 40 years and had retired a few years ago. He was active in social circle involving himself with several organizations and social activities. He was the Administrator (Mokthesara) of Bhadrakali Temple of Gudiyam, key member of ‘Sarvajanika Ganeshov Samiti’ of Gudiyam Temple. Was the President of Gulibettu Babbuswamy Temple and was a Member of Thonse Garadi.
 
A well-known person of Kemmannu social circle his death will surely create a void in Kemmannu. His Final rites are expected to take place on Sunday Evening.

ವಾಹನ ಅಪಘಾತ: ಜಯ ಟಿ.ಗುಳಿಬೆಟ್ಟು ಮೃತ್ಯುವಶ

ಮುಂಬಯಿ, ಆ.12: ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣು ಪಡುತೋನ್ಸೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ಹಲವಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಅಂಚೆ ಗುಮಾಸ್ತನಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಜಯ ಟಿ.ಗುಳಿಬೆಟ್ಟು ವಾಹನ ಅಪಘಾತಕ್ಕೊಳಪಟ್ಟು ಇಂದಿಲ್ಲಿ ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಆದರ್ಶ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಧನರಾದರು.

ಓರ್ವ ಕೃಷಿಕನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮಾಜದವರ ಕಣ್ಮಣಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆರೆತು ಬಾಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮೃತರು ಕಳೆದ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಅಪಘಾತದಿಂದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದರು. ತೀವ್ರ ರಕ್ತ ಸ್ರಾವದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಫಲಕಾರಿಯಾಗದೆ ನಿಧನರಾದರು. ಜಯ ಅವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಬೈದರ್ಕಳ ಪಂಚದೂಮಾವತೀ ಗರೋಡಿ ತೋನ್ಸೆ ಮುಂಬಯಿ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯ ನವೀನ್ ಗುಳಿಬೆಟ್ಟು ಅವರ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರ.

ಮೃತರು ಪತ್ನಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಸಹೋದರ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು ಬಂಧು ಬಳಗವÀನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಅಂತಿಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಇಂದಿಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಮೃತರ ಸ್ವಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅಗಲಿದ ಜಯ ಟಿ.ಗುಳಿಬೆಟ್ಟು ಅವÀರ ದಿವ್ಯಾತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿರಶಾಂತಿ ಕರುಣಿಸಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮೃತರ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ದುಃಖ ವನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ನೀಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಬೈದರ್ಕಳ ಪಂಚದೂಮಾವತೀ ಗರೋಡಿ ತೋನ್ಸೆ ಮುಂಬಯಿ ಸಮಿತಿ ಅದ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ವ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಪ್ರಾಥಿರ್üಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
