Veteran Kemmannu Photographer Adarsh Shiva K. Amin receives ‘UPPA’ Award.

Vetaran Kemmannu Photographer Shiva K. Amin, popularly known as ‘Adarsh Shivanna’ received the prestigious “Udupi Press Photographers Association” Award 2019. The Award was presented to him at his home by Udupi District Superintend of Police IPS Officer Mr. Laxman Nimbaragi along with UPPA president Mr. Janardan Kodavoor and Treasurer Mr. Astro Mohan.

On the occasion of the World Photographers Day and coinciding   with the decennial celebration of UPPA this award was presented to Shivanna, who has over 50 years of experience in Photography. He started his profession by setting up Adarsh Studio at Kemmannu over 50 years ago and is a well known person for his simplicity and service. Many of the juniors who have worked under him have moved on and set up their own studios and are successful photographers at present.

SP Laxman Nimbaragi, who spoke on the occasion congratulated Shivanna and said that photographers play a play a major role and help Police Departments in solving many crime besides their service to the society. On the occasion the SP was honored by Hampankatte Friends and by  Kemmannu group.

Now semi retired, Adarsh Studio has been shifted to his House near Sanyasimutt, Hampankatte.

Family Members, well-wishers and members of local associations were present on the occasion.  UPPA President Janardhan Kodavoor welcomed and did the introductory speech. Astro Mohan proposed the Vote of Thanks.

ವಿಶ್ವ ಛಾಯಚಿತ್ರ ಗ್ರಹಣ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ *ಉಪ್ಪಾ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ* ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಆದ ಆದರ್ಶ ಸ್ಟುಡಿಯೋ ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣು ಇದರ ಮಾಲಿಕರಾದ ಹಂಪನಕಟ್ಟೆ *ಶಿವ ಕೆ. ಅಮೀನ್* ಇವರಿಗೆ ಛಾಯಚಿತ್ರ ಗ್ರಹಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ 50 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮೂರಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಇವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ *"ಛಾಯ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿ"* ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದ ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪೋಲಿಸ್ ವರಿಷ್ಠಾಧಿಕಾರಿ *ಶ್ರೀ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ್ ನಿಂಬರಗಿ* ಇವರಿಗೆ ಹಂಪನಕಟ್ಟೆ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜಯಾ ಫೂಟಾರ್ಡೋ ಅವರು ಶಾಲು ಹಾಕಿ ಹೂಗುಚ್ಛ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು..

ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ ಬಳಗ ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣು ಇದರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ದಾಮೋದರ್ ಶಾಲು ಹಾಕಿ ಹೂಗುಚ್ಛ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.. ಉಪ್ಪಾದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜನಾರ್ಧನ್ ಕೊಡವೂರು, ಕೋಶಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಸ್ಟ್ರೋ ಮೋಹನ್ ಇವರಿಗೂ ಹೂಗುಚ್ಛ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.. ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು, ಗಣಪತಿ ಸಹಕಾರಿ ವ್ಯವಸಾಯ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ  ಸತೀಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಹರೀಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಬಡಾನಿಡಿಯೂರು, ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಕೆಮ್ಮಣ್ಣು, ಶ್ರೀಧರ್, ನಾಗರಾಜ್ ಟೈಲರ್, ಸೋಮಪ್ಪ ಕರ್ಕೆರ ಹಾಗೂ ಊರ ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು, ಮತ್ತು ಹಂಪನಕಟ್ಟೆ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು..
