Print Udupi : A 63 year old man died on the spot when he came under the rear wheels of a container truck at junction of Santhekatte, Kallianpur here on Wednesday, September 12.
The deceased has been identified as Gangadher Kanchan (63), a resident of K G Road, near Uppoor village.
A container truck was on its way to Udupi, Gangadhar on his two – wheeler was on his way to Udupi. When a Gangadhar was trying to overtake the long container, he lost balance, fell to the road and was crushed under the rear wheels of the Container truck at Santhekatte, Kallianpur. He died on the spot. Later the dead body taken out with the help of crane to lift the truck.
A case has been registered in the Udupi Traffic Police station.
