Print Udupi : The 32nd Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava at Santhekatte, Kallianpur concluded with immersion of Ganesh Idol at Suvarna River, Kallianpur today evening on Sunday, 16th September with thousands of devotees of Sri Ganesh after four days of various cultural programmes and vedic celebrations at Santhekatte, behind Madhuvan Hotel.
The colourful procession began after the exhibition of various fancy dress holders at Santhekatte around and proceeded towards Kallianpur with support of Tablo dance and other dances by large number of people without any caste and religion.
Meanwhile, Kallianpur Show Owners Association organized on the occasion, various cultural programmes on the stage in front of Milagres Cathedral gate. Various folk dances and other dances held with lot of fun. Traditionally, Tiger Dancers and other exhibited their talents on the dais which was arranged by Kallianpur Shop Owners’ Association as usual since 31 years.
During the colourful procession without castes, religion and age bar thousands of people participated till the end of immersion of Idol at Suvarna River, Kallianpur.
